Anticipation continues to build for the launch of the next-generation 2020 Toyota Highlander after it made a red-hot appearance at the Miami International Auto Show last month. The new Highlander is on its way to Wondries Toyota, and we couldn’t be more excited. Based on the response out of Miami, we’re not the only ones.
The 2020 Toyota Highlander boasts a new, bolder look informed by the Toyota New Global Architecture. Riding on the TNGA-K, the fourth-gen Highlander promises to be the most comfortable and capable yet. Powering the Highlander will be one of two powertrains: a mighty 295-horsepower V6 or the latest Toyota Hybrid System. With the 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine and dual electric motors, the upcoming 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is expected to deliver 34 mpg combined, making it one of the most well-rounded SUVs on the road today.
2020 is already shaping up to be an incredible year for Toyota. Not only can we expect the new Toyota Highlander in our showroom to kick off the year, but we’ve got the first-ever Corolla Hybrid, all-new RAV4 Prime, next-generation 2021 Mirai, and Camry and Avalon AWD to look forward to. For all things Toyota, be sure to visit Wondries Toyota in the new year.
