Pickup trucks, watch out—there’s a new Tacoma in town. Toyota recently announced that the 2016 Toyota Tacoma will be making its first major appearance at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month.
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma debut announcement was not accompanied by much information—in fact, Toyota’s press release consisted of a single sentence—but it did come with a teaser image. While the image is a bit muddy, since the Tacoma is showing off its off-roading capabilities, it is easy to see the shape of the new pickup’s back left fender. This new design features a touch of ruggedness with harsh angles built into the back bumper. The 2016 Tacoma will follow in the footsteps of its big brother, the Tundra, with its name embossed on the truck’s tailgate, making it easy to discern the type of truck it is.
While there isn’t much information about the 2016 Tacoma, we are sure to find out more at the auto show in Detroit next month. Make sure you check back to Wondries Toyota then for an update!
