When a vehicle is around as long as the Toyota Corolla, it attracts a wide range of different driver. One of the largest groups of Corolla drivers are U.S. Hispanics, particularly women. As such, Toyota decided to help celebrate the accomplishments of one of their most important demographics by making an appearance at the Celebrando Latinas Conference.
Celebrandos Latinas is a conference that gathers Hispanic women from all over the country in order to celebrate their fields of work, their accomplishments, and their traditions.
Toyota set up a booth at the Celebrando Latinas conference that allowed for participants to recall and draw their favorite road trip routes on a specialized canvas wrapped around the Toyota Corolla. They could then share their projects online through social media.
“We’re delighted to welcome Toyota to Celebrando Latinas this year,” commented Fanny Miller, founder of Celebrando Latinas and president and director of El Latino-San Diego newspaper, which organizes the event. “To have the world’s largest automaker as a partner underscores the fact that Latinas have attained the stature that they deserve.”
Celebrating the cultures and achievements of the drivers who choose their vehicles is a cause that Toyota has always been, and continues to be, passionate about!
